Amphibians

Amphibians include frogs, toads, salamanders, and some other creatures not as well known. They typically lead double lives. The first life is spent in the water and these larvae breath through gills. The larvae change or "metamorphose" into minature versions of the adults and begin their second life. These miniature adults eat their way into adulthood (sounds like teenagers). Amphibians are typically found around water because they have to keep their thin skin wet to avoid drying out.
